"My most recent experience with Vinny and the service department was typical of my other dealings with John, the staff in the parts department and the lady who takes the money. This is, in my opinion, a professional organization. I had my 2010 V-Max serviced on June 17th, 2016, and Vinny was my service advisor. He took the necessary time to check with Yamaha to see exactly what items I needed checked or serviced for my 16,000 mile service. He explained the details and the cost up front and gave me an approximate time to pick up. I received a call when my bike was ready. John, the manager has always been helpful and friendly and has tried to get me all the parts and accessories I wanted. I started doing business with Gary Purcell and his dad in the early '70's with my Kawasaki Z-1 and the good service is still the same. "Recently I was going on a speed run with a rider group. Long ride. However, I knew that a long ride would cause my throttle hand to go numb. On a 2013 Honda F6B Goldwing, that's not a good thing. So, I ought a cruise control after market. Great idea, but I was unable to install it. I called Purcell's, made my appointment ,via Vinnie, and dropped the bike off. They called me afterward to explain the extent of effort necessary to install the unit. It would be complete after KSU for the group. I understood. But, that very morning, I picked up my bike only hours after the group departed. Vinnie had never seen such joy on my face as I departed Purcell's heading toward Key West. I set the cruise at 45 mph to test. It was great. I reset to a higher speed, ( I can give you 95 reasons for that) kicked back and met with the group prior to our prearranged time. Thank you Purcell's for the mighty effort and reasonable expense. I had a freakin' great extended weekend thanks to your team there. I'll be back. Russ Beechly"

"I've recently moved to the Jacksonville area and shortly after arriving I purchased a Kawasaki 900, unfortunately from a another bike shop. I was in the need of a rear tire and needed it asap, because of an up coming road trip. I contacted the staff at Purcells and even though they were extremely busy and I had no appointment scheduled they treated my circumstance seriously and told me to bring my bike in. I expected upon arrival to be put on a waiting list until they could find time to fit me in. To my surprise, you would have thought I was there to purchase a 20,000 dollar bike. Several of the staff members met me at the door and began assisting me. My bike was in the garage area within minutes of arriving and they had me ready to go in what I felt was an extremely short time, given I had no appointment and the fact that they were extremely busy. At no time did any of the staff give the impression that I was being a bother to them. Like I said, I didn't buy this bike from them, but I assure you the next bikes I buy will come from Purcells. "I was on a road trip and picked up a nail on I-295 and my rear tire went flat. I had the bike towed to Purcell's and although they were very busy there was never a hint of being bothered or flustered. "I had originally purchased my 2003 Honda VTX through Purcells. After the bike was totaled out (hit in a parking garage) I gave Purcell’s a go again. This led to my purchase of a new 2007 Yamaha Roadstar 1700. I must have wandered around several times. Even changing the bike I was interested in originally. At no time was there irritation from the sales reps or the feeling of wanting to speed the transaction up. They were very knowledgeable and interested in me getting what I want. All the way down to the finance managers. I could not come in for a few months and the sales guy that handles my transactions still calls me by name (Don’t get that much anymore). Hands down this has been the best experience. I know I haven’t bought from other dealers but that is a testament to the character and quality of this place. I have even purchase parts and gear there. Not the largest selection but still; very helpful reps."

"Went in to find a replacement for my 2000 Honda Shadow 750. And found the bike of my dreams. Bought a leftover 2009 Yamaha V-Star 1300, Pearl White Mettalic. Was at a great price with many add ons. The finnance team got me the best deal, with payments I could afford and a wonderful warranty plan. The bike had lockable saddle bags, but the keys were not with the bags. The Purcell's team went out of there way to get keys made for me and compensated for the time it took. One of the best buying experinces I have ever had. I will recommend them to all of my friends for their next purchase."

"I have a Vulcan 900 and wanted to be more visible when riding at night and at the same time give my bike a nice look. So I had the guys at Purcells install a LED Light Kit. "I was headed back to Georgia after bike week when I experience problems with my Honda Sabre. I looked up the nearest Honda shop on my gps and followed it to Purcells, and thank god it did. I told them I was heading home and having problems. I explained what the bike was doing and even before looking at the bike they knew what the problem was. "3/05/2010 I bought my 05 VTX1300 Retro back in 2004. I recently had to have it repaired because i just couldn't get it right myself. I was very grateful for David and the crew in the service dept. for doing an excellent job. the bike runs better than it ever has. i do have a beef with GE Money for stopping the use of my Purcell's Honda credit card. not even a e-mail or letter from GE Money that i can not use it there anymore. other than that Purcell's has a great service dept. now and i'm very appreciative to the guys back there. "Originally purchased my 2007 Yamaha Road Star from Purcells. Never had any problems nor any stories told to me. It is nice to not have sales people try to take you for a ride for a change. Everything any sales/service person has ever told me has been out of trying to actually assist me, not to just try to make a sale. That is refreshing in this day and age. "After purchasing my used 2004 Honda CBR 1000RR the motorcycle developed serious fuel system problems. This was very discouraging to me as well as stressful. In this instance Purcells could have elected to stand by their policy of used bikes being as is with no warranty. Meaning that once the sale was completed I would be on my own in dealing with this problem. This would have cost me thousands of dollars and a completely horrible experience. Instead Marco, and the General Manager whose name I cannnot recall went way above and beyond all customer service standards and spent over $2000 correcting the issues with this motorcycle. I cannot begin to tell you how this defines the character of your dealership but I think you know. I am a very satisfied customer and being a management official, with the most successful heatlth club chain in our area (Lifestyle Family Fitness) I have a pretty good idea of how to rate a companys customer service standards.
